This refresher satisfies the 32 hour Medication Aide refresher course with Insulin Module. This refresher is offered for Medication Aides working in a adult day care center, correctional facility, group home (DBHDS license), residential children’s home according to the Code of Virginia §54.1-3408. Our course includes administration of medication safely and ways to prevent medication errors, diabetes, a review of emergency situations/caring for your client, proper documentation of vital signs and a review of vital signs.
